Representatives from companies, institutions and the Berlin property sector came together in June for our courtyard party for the first two construction phases of the OFFICEHOME Ostkreuz Campus in Berlin-Friedrichshain. The highlight of the event was a keynote speech by Dr. Severin Fischer, State Secretary of the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises.

As part of a campus talk, PANDION CEO Reinhold Knodel, Enpal Managing Director Dr. Florian Christ, Berlin Partner Managing Director Dr. Stefan Franzke, Inga Schwarz FRICS CRE, Head of Research at BNP Paribas Real Estate, and Gerhard Wittfeld, Managing Partner of kadawittfeldarchitektur, also discussed current office market trends in Berlin and the changing requirements in the area of New Work.

In Berlin-Friedrichshain, the digital industry is booming, ideas are bubbling up and success stories are emerging. Our OFFICEHOME Ostkreuz Campus office project closes the gap between the booming Mediaspree and one of Berlin´s most important railway stations, Ostkreuz.

The OFFICEHOME Ostkreuz Campus is a sustainable office complex with a flexible utilisation concept. Three office buildings with a total GFA of 52,000 m² and up to 5,000 workstations will be built by mid-2027. The six-storey OFFICEHOME Zinc, designed by Collignon Architektur, comprises 9,650 m² GFA. Completion is planned for mid-2024.

The OFFICEHOME Pollux with 28,700 m² GFA is being built at the same time. The six-storey building, designed by kadawittfeldarchitektur, is scheduled for completion in mid-2025. A third construction phase with around 14,000 m² GFA is currently being planned.

The first major tenant is the solar company Enpal, which has rented the entire OFFICEHOME Zinc building and around a quarter of the space in OFFICEHOME Pollux, totalling around 17,300 m². More information on our OFFICEHOME Ostkreuz Campus office project can be found at:
