NEWS, August 2025 State Secretary Sieveke visits PANDION NEXT

As part of this year’s WohneNRW Days, the nearly completed PANDION NEXT neighborhood showcased its diversity on August 29. Among the guests were Daniel Sieveke, State Secretary at the NRW Ministry of Housing, and Cornelia Zuschke, Head of Urban Planning for the City of Düsseldorf.

Situated between the Medienhafen and Lorettoviertel, PANDION NEXT is an urban neighborhood that brings together different housing types and life stages. The project comprises 91 condominiums, 34 rent-controlled apartments, 39 publicly subsidized senior residences by the Sahle Wohnen Group, and a new kindergarten, soon to be opened by the Fröbel Group.

A landscaped central courtyard provides space for play, exploration, and relaxation, fostering a sense of community. Together with project partner Sahle Wohnen, the former Siemens site has been transformed into a vibrant neighborhood – a model for future-oriented urban development in Düsseldorf.
