At the beginning of the year, our historic PANDION ALTE MÄLZEREI brewery building in Berlin-Friedrichshain opened its daycare centre. A total of up to 56 children aged between one and six now have plenty of space to run around in the bright rooms of the PANDION ALTE MÄLZEREI brewery building and on the outdoor playground. The two refurbished floors above are available for rent as office space.

About the extension

When planning the refurbishment and interior fit-out of a total of six group rooms, additional play areas, children´s studios and workshops covering around 580 square metres, we considered the needs of the children as well as the requirements for safety, stability, fire protection and room acoustics.

We also refurbished the two floors above the daycare centre, measuring 620 and 650 square metres, in line with listed building regulations and converted them for future office and commercial use. Large window openings ensure an optimal quality of stay and the visible walls and ceiling caps create a unique sense of space. We offer these exclusive spaces for rent and for sale.

Our neighbourhood

In the immediate vicinity of PANDION ALTE MÄLZEREI, we are building the new PANDION MIDTOWN urban quarter with 474 rental and owner-occupied flats on a 16,150 square metre site. While families with children as well as young singles and senior citizens have felt at home in the flats in the first and second construction phases of PANDION MIDTOWN for some time now, we are preparing to hand over the communal property in the third construction phase to the new buyers in spring 2024. The fourth and final construction phase is also already being sold.
