We are pleased to enrich the cultural landscape in Düsseldorf together with the asphalt Festival. For the next two years, our building at Oststrasse 34 will be the venue for the renowned asphalt Festival under the name "34OST. We are making the approximately 2,000 square meters on the ground floor and basement of the former Conrad technology market available to the festival free of charge.

As a summer festival of the arts, the asphalt Festival has been thrilling audiences with a diverse program since its inception in 2012. In addition to the established theater and concert halls, the festival is always looking for unusual places to make art and culture accessible to a wide audience.

At "34OST", you can expect an impressive variety of artistic productions, exhibitions, readings, concerts and lectures during the festival. The artistic interim use has already started with various prologue events. On June 16, the asphalt festival will officially open at "34OST".

Klaus Küppers, our NRW branch manager emphasizes: "The asphalt Festival convinces us with its multifaceted program and its ability to bring art and culture to extraordinary places. We are thrilled that the 34OST will become a meeting place as part of the festival and that we will be able to extend our commitment to the creative scene in the state capital by providing the venue free of charge."

As a special feature, the asphalt Festival 2023 and 2024 can also use the premises for events outside the actual festival period. In this season, artists from Ukraine in particular will be given a voice and platform. The entire program as well as all so-called prologue events can be found on the website www.asphalt-festival.de.

In addition, students from the Düsseldorf Art Academy will be using the space at 34 Oststraße this year for an exhibition as part of their 250th anniversary. After two years, we will demolish the existing building and develop a modern office building on the same site under our umbrella brand OFFICEHOME.
