PANDION celebrates topping-out ceremony in Leonberg

September 2021

The building shell is finished! On 17 September, PANDION and its guests celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the 142-apartment PANDION LEON construction project on Jahnstraße/Strohgäustraße in Leonberg near Stuttgart. According to the plans of the architectural office Hascher Jehle, a total of twelve residential buildings will be built on the former sports grounds of TSG Leonberg by 2022. In the process, 42 publicly subsidised and affordable flats will also be built.

In the presence of the Lord Mayor of Leonberg, Martin Georg Cohn, and the architect Prof. Sebastian Jehle, as well as the purchasers and the companies involved in the project, the topping-out wreath was lifted by the builder. Stuttgart PANDION branch manager Steffen Jüstel recalled: "Less than three years ago, we - as a newly founded Stuttgart branch - were able to announce the start of our first construction project in the greater Stuttgart area with the acquisition of the TSG site. With more than 140 residential units, PANDION LEON is currently the largest residential construction project in Leonberg and sets urban development standards for the city. With its public green and open spaces and a generally accessible children's playground, it will also fit harmoniously into the existing and grown structures of the city and the surrounding area".
