The daycare centre of our Düsseldorf project on Völklinger Straße was successfully sold on 18 December 2025. The three-stream facility has 56 places for children aged between one and school age and is operated by the Fröbel Group. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The Fröbel Kindergarten on Völklinger Straße has been an important part of the local education and childcare landscape since November 2025. The new daycare centre focuses on art, culture, education for sustainable development and democracy in action. Its ideal, urban location in the heart of Düsseldorf allows the children to go on excursions to museums, take walks along the Rhine or visit political institutions such as the state parliament. In addition, the spacious, nature-oriented outdoor area of the daycare centre, located in the inner courtyard of our PANDION NEXT residential project, invites children to explore, play and romp around every day.

The bigger picture

The daycare centre is part of a comprehensive neighbourhood development consisting of the PANDION NEXT residential project with 91 condominiums, 34 rent-controlled apartments and 39 publicly subsidised apartments for senior citizens. Directly adjacent is the modern OFFICEHOME Rise office building, which offers around 35,000 square metres of rental space on 17 floors. A green, publicly accessible boulevard connects both projects and creates additional quality of life.
