The Sahle Wohnen Group is acquiring three building plots in our development PANDION BEL in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel. A total of 340 publicly subsidized apartments are to be built on the site, which covers a total of around 17,000 square meters of residential space. The overall plan for the development includes approximately 950 residential units, around 40 percent of which are publicly subsidized. Since May 2025, we have had the legally binding development plan for the approximately 47,000 square meter site next to the park. Various types of housing and three daycare centers are expected to be built by 2035.
Klaus Küppers, PANDION branch manager says: “With the partnership with Sahle Wohnen, we have reached a decisive milestone in the development of the neighborhood. It creates the basis for advancing the project, completing the western component of the ‘Belsenpark’ master plan, and jointly designing a lively, forward-looking residential environment.”
The building permit for our first construction site has already been granted, so we will soon be able to start marketing 108 condominiums under the project name GREENS. The neighborhood combines modern architecture, urban diversity, and sustainable quality, creating urgently needed living space for the state capital of Düsseldorf.
